SalesPatriot is the AI-native operating system for the defense supply chain. Our autonomous agents take in unstructured data. This helps automate the delivery of key parts for F-35s, Blackhawks, and Abrams Tanks. We’re not just shipping code. 🎯 Mission Objectives (Your Role)
You will join the Core Team as a Forward Deployed Engineer. This is a hybrid role: 75% elite engineering, 25% on-the-ground problem solving.
- Deploy to the Front: You won’t just write code; you will travel to the US to visit defense manufacturers. You will see your software running on the factory floor, not just in the cloud.
- Build the “Iron Man” Suit: Create an AI command center using Svelte and TypeScript. This will give logistics officers superpowers.
- Ship at Wartime Speed: We deploy daily. You will own complete features. This includes everything from the Postgres database schema to UI components. Then, you’ll deliver them straight to users who need them ASAP.
- Eliminate the Fog of War: Turn messy data from legacy ERPs into clean, helpful insights using LLMs.
🪖 Operator Profile (Requirements)
We are not looking for a corporate senior dev with 10 years of experience in managing Jira tickets. We are looking for a young, obsessed builder (likely with a history of freelancing or side-projects) who wants to win.
The Lifestyle (Non-Negotiable):
- Hacker House: You are ready to live and work in a “hacker house” environment (first in Poland, then in SF).
- Relocation: You must be ready to relocate to San Francisco within ~4 months.
- Intensity: This is a pre-Series A sprint. Expect 12-14-hour days, 7 days a week. We are trading sleep for equity and speed.
The Stack:
You are fluent in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Frontend: We use Svelte / SvelteKit. It’s enough if you know React.
- Backend: Deep understanding of backend performance (Queues/Trigger.dev).
- AI Native Workflow: You don’t just code; you accelerate yourself with Cursor/Claude and understand how to iterate at “AI speed.”
- Builder DNA: A GitHub profile full of side projects is worth more to us than a degree.
Also nice:
- The “Firefighter” Skillset (Critical): Our 500GB+ Supabase (Postgres) instance melts down due to massive data ingestion. You must be an expert in SQL Query Optimization and Caching strategies (Redis). You need to know how to fix slow queries and handle massive loads.
